Learn to paint... Watercolours

Country Dusk

Sussex Windmill

Features one of our local dew ponds situated on farmland near Ditchling Beacon in Sussex. Dew ponds offer a break in the landscape and an opportunity to collect the colours from the sky. Our Dew pond is no exception and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience of developing this simple but beautiful painting.

and

Ashdown Forest

Calm Sea

This ancient magical place gave us our most memorable image because this was the very first image we decided to use for series 1. For this reason this has been the most tested image it is a classic landscape with lots of texture and perspective and is extremely enjoyable to paint.

£14.99 + £3.50 P+P - includes both pictures

Lake Windermere

Features a dramatic sunset from the viewpoint of a jetty. It has a dramatic sky yet a calm lake with slight movement from the tide moving through this large natural lake. This is a great way to introduce a bit of perspective without even noticing it.

and

Autumn Forest Walk

An image taken from Friston Forest, located behind the Seven Sisters Country Park. We would recommend a visit especially in autumn when it is at it's most stunning. There are also great cream teas to be found locally.
